Know Your Eastern European Anthems

On a routine trip to Makiivka, home of the Hussalonia metallurgical laboratory, Hussalonia founder Jesse Mank was taken aback by an inspiring melody heard coming from a whistling steel worker. After apprehending the strapping young man for impeding productivity, Mank was surprised to learn that the coal-covered laborer was in fact whistling Ukraine’s national anthem. Moved by the heart wrenching melody and thrusting, emphatic rhythm, it did not take long for Mank to seek out the national anthems of neighboring Eastern European countries, all of them just as rousing as Ukraine’s. Upon his return to the States, Mank recorded these stirring renditions of his favorite Eastern European anthems for all the world to enjoy.
